Contractor Hired
Posted by brandie
The meeting with the contractor was a success. We hired him despite a few unsettling details. We were impressed with that he was impressed with himself. The biggest issue for us was that he provided his proposal/estimate for the foundation on a napkin. This lack of professionalism has us a little nervous, but we really don't have any other options. We are set to break ground tomorrow.

This has all the earmarks of a bad movie !! I wish you only the best and look forward to seeing & hearing more about this adventure. Good luck & god speed.

Well you know professionalism always comes in mind in construction but to see him write it on a napkin makes it more interesting. Now i won't lie to you I myself have been in situations where knowledge and time comes together and even writing on a 2x6 was necessary! Good luck
